Recommended Method for Install

well i have my test machine working fairly well now with SEPRU5.  updates are current, etc.

now, i'm wondering what the best way is to implement this.  i read on the docs that it is NOT recommend to run it on a WinXP box.  due to lack of connections.

i have a 2003 DC here but am reluctant to use it.  it already has a default website on it that is used for training.

any suggestion on this would be great.

thanks

Symantec system Center and Symantec Endpoint manager can co-exist on the same server.
However to install SEP client on the server you will have to un-install Symantec system center.

By default when you install SEPM it creates custom website..

Yes winxp has limitations to the number of concurrent connection in IIS
YOu can use your DC for SEPM install
Let your website be on default
install symantec endpoint on custom website.
your default will not be disturbed
when you install sepm
select the option custom website and you can choose any port number,  port

thanks rafeeq,
on the custom install - it will create a separate instance for it's site?
what type of load does this put on the Server?
i already have the older Symantec 10.1.5 System Centre Console install on it.  best practice is to uninstall it and do a fresh install of SU5?
