Symantec endpoint protection manager 11

Dear All

 

We have Symantec endpoint protection manager in our organisation but we do not have back up files.Last week Server Hard disk has problem and we have installed new Symantec endpoint protection manager.But we do not have our updated list on SEPM.

I have retrieve the old SEPM FOLDER from pROGRAM FILES and having sem5.db which is 0 kb and sem5.log having big size.

Now we would like to configure new SEPM as old setup.Please guide me how to solve this issue.

 

Want to retrieve all client list on SEPM and it should connect with my sepm.Please help me.

 If DB is corrupted, you can reconfigure SEPM server.

You can use SylinkReplacer Utility

Replacing syslink.xml file for all Sep client to Communicate New SEPM server.

How to get SylinkReplacer Utility.Once I will run this utility on server then it is going to install in all client manually or it will run in back ground of all cilents.

It will update server group and policy also?

all client showing your compuetr is protected with green mark.But it is offline only.actually DB is not updating in client.all db definition is old date i.e. last week.

You can Run for server where you are able to communicate all sep client.

After you can give Client Ip's range.

Follow the instructions provided in the SylinkReplacer.PDF

Thanks Ashish.I have already started  and it is running.May be it will take some time to update from all clients.I have given ip range from 192.168.0.2 - 192.168.0.255 which is our network ip.

if before you are using SMC-stop password.

First you can provide syslinkreplace tool.
