A previous post about using Norton Internet Security on an XP Mode session said:

License

And as far as the unmanaged clients are concerned they do not require the license.

What is an unmanaged client? Does that mean that I can install Norton Internet Security using the same registration key that I used on the Win7 machine that is hosting the XP Mode session?

NIS is not a centrally managed product and requires a license for every install. There is no "unmanaged client" version in NIS.
