Hi,
we recently aquired a new customer who has Backup Exec 20 already up and running. The split up between said customer and his previous it service-provider wasn't too friendly, so there is not much information about this installation to be had.
What is extremely troublesome, that our new customer does not know to which account his BE-licenses and entitlements are bound.
Is there any way to determine from a entitlemet-ID which accoujt is used to download software, license files, etc.

Easiest is to log a call with Veritas Customer Care and request the customer's IBR (Install Base Report).
If you log a call on the customer's behalf, you need an email from the customer giving you permission to request their IBR.
Customer Care will also confirm who the license administrator (logon email address) is for this account.
It can be changed upon request from the customer.
