"You covered backing up to the cloud and running in the cloud, what about running across clouds, the hybrid datacenter?"

NetBackup is at it's core, a software defined data protection solution. That means that it can go pretty much anywhere your applications can go. NetBackup can protect workloads on premises, in virtual infrastructures and in cloud infrastructures. Plus, we have no problem working across those infrastructures. Years of cross data center, multi-geo location support in NetBackup makes it's ideal for spanning infrastructures and domains.

On top of that, new innovations like the CloudCatalyst image sharing feature's self descriptive buckets in AWS s3 enables DR and migration scenarios as well as as accessing deduplicated data in object storage from multiple locations. NetBackup can even integrate with VRP for enhanced recovery and migration automation. This is all a testament to Veritas's commitment to protecting data wherever it is and wherever it needs to be.
