After the outage paths to the LUN on the SAN remain disabled even after recovery

We have experienced brief SAN outage - lost several paths to the SAN (Infoscale 7.3 on Red Hat Linux 7).

The paths were recovered quickly, the corresponding disks came back (from the OS prospective), but vxdisk list was still showing impacted paths as disabled. Any insight on why this could be the case?

Thank you

Sorry, this is 5 days since your issue - is everything fine now?

In future, try vxdisk scandisks.

If OS sees all the paths normal now but VxVM does not and if you are unable to reboot, just run the commands below

1. vxdctl enable

2. vxdmpadm getsubpaths | grep -i disable

and check the outputs  to see if all the paths are OK now

if the servers are VCS nodes, freeze all the service groups before implenting and unfreeze afterwrds
