Can I activated the SFHA 7.4.2 by inputting license code manually?

I need to install SFHA 7.4.2 for test,but I have only a 7.x license code(maybe it's a generic code,because it's 7.2's license,but can be used by 7.3.1).

Then I found SFHA 7.4.2 can't input code manually on installation(only support license key file).Now I want to try this license code whether can be use on SFHA 7.4.2.

Can I activated the SFHA 7.4.2 by inputting license code manually?If I can,how ?

you should be able to add [od keys manually by running

vxlicinst   

or

product installer

I think for earlier versions before 7.4.1, license code may work all fine, but later versions you will need license file.
