V-5-1-5127 Can't open /dev/vx/netiod

Hi everyone,

I have this linux RHEL7 server which VVR (this is the secondary node) won't start.  There were some os patch installed on the system (not by me) and the server has been rebooted and since then, vvr is not working. Primary server has not been updated with the os patches so it is running fine.  I have verified that the licence part is ok. here is the output whet i try to start vvr.

# /usr/sbin/vxstart_vvr stop
# /usr/sbin/vxstart_vvr start

Is there some log that i can look for the netiod ? Any help would be appreciated.

Found the problem.  Linux team upgraded the OS to RHEL 7.3 including the kernel and since my version of  NBU is 7.7.2, it' not supported.  For a test we rebooted the server with the previous kernel and everything is working fine.
