Many customers are moving to Software as a Service (SaaS) email delivery – with Microsoft Office 365 being a common choice.
Some rudimentary archiving capabilities are built into the Office 365 Platform. Additional Compliance and eDiscovery options are available in the Office 365 E3 and E5 plans. However, many regulated organizations are choosing to enhance their archiving and eDiscovery business processes with 3rd party offerings.
Research firm Neuralytix recently interviewed and surveyed a cross section of Veritas Enterprise Vault.cloud customers to understand why they made the extra investment in an Enterprise Vault.cloud SaaS subscription when their Office 365 license already had some archiving and EDisovery features.
