I’m very excited to announce the Summer 2018 release for Enterprise Vault.cloud. This release delivers several new features, including automated classification to address global privacy concerns, usage notifications and support for messages of up to 200MB.
Enterprise Vault.cloud is software-as-a-service and will be rolled out across Veritas’ global data centers over the next several weeks during regularly-planned maintenance windows, with customers being notified in advance that the service will not be available during this time.
The rollout to our customers in the Australian data center was successfully completed this weekend. The planned release schedule in our remaining data centers is as follows (dates subject to change:(
What’s new:
Address global privacy concerns with Veritas Information Classifier
Enterprise Vault.cloud now integrates with the Veritas Information Classifier. It allows you to automatically classify items based on their content and metadata. Using Enterprise Vault.cloud Discovery Archive, you can search for and filter items according to the tags that the Veritas Information Classifier has assigned to them. With support for more than 70 default policies, you can address a wide variety of compliance regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR (with support for all EU member states), Sarbanes-Oxley, and many more. Classification is an upgrade option for Enterprise Vault.cloud. It will not show in your administration console unless you have requested a trial or purchased licenses for it.
Setup alerts to continuously monitor your usage counts
Enterprise Vault.cloud offers you the flexibility to add users as needed, even if you have to go above your current licensed amount. Now, in just a matter of seconds, you can enable usage alert notifications, which will automatically send an email to you when you reach your specified user threshold. You have the ability to set the notification frequency and also add up to 50 email addresses in the notification pane. We strongly encourage you to enable this helpful alert functionality to ensure you are always aware of your user counts, even when you aren’t logged in to your Administration console. Increased message size support
With so many customers now using Microsoft Office 365 as email platform of choice, it is critical for your archive to support the same message size as Office 365. This release delivers support for messages up to 200MB (above Office 365’s current 150MB limit) in Enterprise Vault.cloud. This functionality is available to all customers, regardless of mail platform.
Expanded Single Sign-on (SSO)
Enterprise Vault.cloud now supports Centrify SSO, giving you even greater flexibility to use the SSO tool of your choice.
I look forward to sharing more news and updates about Enterprise Vault.cloud in the coming months.
Thank you,
Amy Dugdale
