CSE Week 2018: raising awareness of careers in engineering at Veritas and beyond

Despite unexpected record-breaking rain and snow, the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering event was deemed a success! Over 200 students stopped by the Veritas tent to enjoy a hot dog and gain insights on Veritas; compelling conversations were had with the students and many left expressing interest in learning more about Veritas as they begin seeking future professional opportunities.

“Overall, the event did a great job of raising brand awareness of Veritas at the University of Minnesota,” shared one Veritas team member of the CSE Week 2018 experience.

The tech-focused showcase dates back to 1914, and includes technical competitions, professional development and networking opportunities, and social events to inspire excitement around the department.

All proceeds from the 2018 Cookout went to the CSE Week charity of choice, Neighborhood House.
