Success for Veritas’ YWCA Kitchen Drive

In April, we invited Veritas employees at our Mountain View headquarters to contribute household goods to a YWCA Kitchen Drive, led by Veritas Employee Resource Groups, BLEVE, HOLA, and WAVE.

The Kitchen Drive benefited the Domestic Violence shelter in the North Santa Clara County, and ran between April 4th and 12th. Items from the nine-day Veritas effort allowed the YWCA to replace most of the items in the shelter’s three kitchens.

“With our efforts, families in need of emergency housing will have the tools they need to nourish their bodies and begin the healing process,” affirmed one among our staff of the impressive outcome.

The YWCA has a rich history of providing facilities and resources to families and individuals experiencing, exposed to, or recovering from domestic violence; they are #ONAMISSION to “end racism and empower women” – a mission those of us in Veritas’ BLEVE, HOLA, and WAVE ERGs are proud to support, together.
