Veritas is on a sustainability journey, integrating environmental priorities into our operational, product, and supply chain strategies; in the last twelve months, we’ve taken numerous measures to better understand the impact of our business on the environment, and we are working collectively to reduce our draw on resources, identifying and implementing concrete actions to improve our performance from an environmental perspective.
This cooperative approach has enabled us to reduce costs and risks across the business, while increasing our positive impact as a responsible corporate citizen. Some highlights from our efforts include:
- Veritas completed a global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory in 2017;
- reduced underutilized space, bringing our total footprint down by 10 percent since January 2016;
- launched our SAVE (Sustainability at Veritas Empowered) employee resource group in over 10 locations across the globe;
- and offered an 5Rs - refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle - companywide employee awareness campaign;
