The mission of Veritas’ BLEVE – or Black Employees at Veritas Empowered – is to support the professional and leadership development of African-American employees through awareness, mentoring, recruitment, and community engagement programs.
Veritas BLEVE events have included employee networking opportunities and community-focused efforts, like our office-wide highlight of Black History Month. We’ve even started a BLEVE book club, in which we collectively distribute, read, and discuss literature composed by authors sharing inspiring messages or stories, or those offering helpful professional insights, as in Carla Harris’, Strategize to Win: The New Way to Start Out, Step Up, or Start Over in Your Career.
All Veritas employees are invited to join their BLEVE local chapter. If a local chapter does not yet exist, please contact Corporate Responsibility for assistance in creating one.
