Students of Bal Kalyan Sanstha sharing in an afternoon of enjoyment with the Veritas Pune HR team.
“I remember the first view we had of the children – we were having our final discussions, planning, and suddenly they entered,” shared one among Veritas’ Pune HR team of their recent work in support of Bal Kalyan Sanstha – a local non-profit organization focused on the care of children with special needs.
Participating in the company’s HR Giving Week, our Pune staff joined Bal Kalyan Sanstha staff in caring for beneficiaries – leading art projects and playing games for the entertainment of all involved.
The Veritas Pune HR team spent the afternoon engaging the children at Bal Kalyan Sanstha in activities, like "Blast the Balloon," which they imagined alongside the students.“It was a feeling of a day well spent,” noted one Veritas employee, “We had a game we called, Blast the Balloons – the children loved it, and we kept the timer aside and enjoyed until the last balloon was popped!”
Another from the Veritas team expressed, “It was such a relief to just watch them,” of the shared creative session in which all participants joined in a hand-painting project in celebration of the Festival of Colors the following day.
