This year the Heathrow, FL campus of Veritas had two Big Red Buses on hand for the May Blood Drive.
On May 5, #TeamVtas Heathrow hosted its second blood drive of 2019, with the next 2 scheduled for July and October.
Veritas has partnered with OneBlood for 19 years, and is grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting the community through the donation program.
“Awe YEAH! Gave some #redbloodcells to the rest of the world today!” notes Andy Corley, Inside Sales Engineer in the Renewals Organization, who is a frequent donator at the blood drive.For those who participated, there is a raffle for 2 gift baskets supplied by OneBlood consisting of a collection of items and gift certificates. Additionally, all donors received a wellness checkup, including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse, and cholesterol screening.
