On June 5th, Veritas’ employee resource group, Women at Veritas Empowered, hosted brown bag sessions in its Mountain View and Santa Clara offices sharing details of the company’s TechWomen program participation in the coming year and inviting the commitment of new mentor candidates from across the organization.

“The TechWomen program provides an exciting opportunity for women at Veritas to have a stronger voice in the technology industry,” expressed Mountain View WAVE co-leader, @jennlien, of the company’s continued work with the government program. And @AnuSaripalli, noted, “We’re pleased to be bringing on another collection of Veritas mentors for our 2018 work with TechWomen.”

TechWomen is an initiative of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs dedicated to empowering, connecting, and supporting women leaders globally, in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, “providing them the access and opportunity needed to advance their careers, pursue their dreams, and inspire women and girls in their communities.”

In 2018, being involved in programs that inspire awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusivity at our company and in the technology industry as a whole are just a part of what makes #LifeAtVeritas so fulfilling.

WAVE leaders expect to have finalized mentorship roles for this year’s TechWomen program by June 15th. Please join us here, on VOX, for additional updates!
