The Veritas Employee Resource Group, Women at Veritas Empowered – or WAVE – had a lot to celebrate this week in addition to International Women’s Day. We kicked-off WAVE Panel Discussions with a panel titled, Engaging and Winning in a Cloud Economy, with guest speakers Suze Siegel, Killian Evers, and WAVE ally, Rohini Kasturi.
With a full house, we discussed together the ways in which cloud computing and data management has changed the technology industry and Veritas business, as well as evident changes in our day-to-day existence.
Rohini explained the range of cloud technologies being implemented by Veritas, and shared how each enables us to seek the user experiences we want, and at a cost and time far reduced from past standards.
Killian then shared details on the positive impact of cloud capabilities on user experiences – and spoke to the importance of user experience to a customer-focused business, like Veritas. Following this discussion, Suze highlighted the financial impacts of cloud technologies for Veritas and Veritas customers, in inspiring and unique ways.
The Panel Discussion concluded with a clear message: to be successful, our business must continue innovating its use of cloud-based technologies, and those of us in Veritas' WAVE ERG are excited to be a part of these conversations and developments.
WAVE Panel Discussions will be an ongoing at Veritas, and we anticipate promoting and sharing Panel Discussions on a broad range of technical subjects, soon. These efforts and others by Veritas Employee Resource groups are just a part of what makes #LifeAtVeritas so good.
