Don’t Miss Veritas Information Governance at Microsoft Ignite!

Are you ready for Microsoft Ignite 2017, which runs from September 25-29 in Orlando, Florida? We are, and we’re excited to meet with you. This year, we’re planning to showcase the latest releases of our Veritas Information Governance portfolio, anchored by Enterprise Vault and Enterprise, eDiscovery Platform, Data Insight and Information Map. In particular, drop by to see how our enhanced Integrated Classification Engine solves pressing customer challenges with Enterprise Vault 12.2 and Data Insight 6.0.

Classification, as defined by industry analyst Gartner, is the “ability to sort artifacts into groups, such as simple categories or taxonomies”. The Integrated Classification Engine does that and more, with powerful features, including search by default keywords, expressions, patterns and proximity, checksum validation and confidence- and hit-rate-based dispositions. It features more than 50 built-in global policies and support for more than 100 patterns.

When used with Data Insight, the Integrated Classification Engine improves targeted classification to help ensure relevancy. Data Insight can also use machine learning for classification prioritization – for example, finding personally identifiable information (PII) more quickly within dark data. With Enterprise Vault, the engine can help determine what content to archive and what to discard and much more. You can even use test mode to help you visualize the potential outcomes of applying a policy to specific archives.

What challenges can these technologies solve for your organization? How do they integrate with your Microsoft ecosystem? Come by Veritas booth 373, and let’s talk about it. And if your professional role involves looking after unstructured data on file shares, we’ve got an additional bonus. Find Mehtaj Saad from Veritas Solutions Marketing at our booth or around the conference. She’ll trade a complementary gift card with you for 30 minutes of your time to learn what a day in your life looks like.
