Hi @AhmedGamil84 !
In your last restore the creation of second vg failed due to changes in PP size/number. But the creation of logvolumen was successful. Now you have for datavg exact the same number of disks with the same size. So BMR should work without DDR.
Since I dont have experience with BMR of AIX Clients: Is there a way to create logvoluemn first in DDR Gui ?
How did you solved the problem last time ?
Generic solution: Restore rootvg only using BMR. After AIX is up an running:
- Create datavg
- create JFS2 Volumens starting with logvolumen
- check Size of volumens and correct if necessary
- perform a "normal" Filerestore
