Appliance and altnames

Hi

We have a new netbackup appliance with version 7.5, I'm trying to work out how to do Microsoft SQL Cluster backups and restores. The part I'm getting stuck on using the sql admin guide is setting up wth altnames files on the appliance (no.restrictions, NODEA and NODEB)

How do I do this on the appliance ?

thanks

Adrian

You should be able to do it from command line.

Use 'putty' or some other text-based terminal to logon as 'admin'.

Use the following commands to get to a normal Unix shell (case sensitive):
Support
Maintenance
elevate   (you will be prompted for admin password again).

You can now navigate the filesystem, create altnames folder (if it does not exist already) and create files for cluster members or create No.Restrictions touchfile.
