Backup and restore dag Exchange in vmware environnement

Hy

i have a problem with a backup and restore for a exchange 2010 dag with vmware

i have a dga : dag1

2 nodes : exchange1 and exchange2

i have create a vmware policy with exchange application box checked.

i have backup both server

but when i want to restore a mail with policy type exchange, no backup available for exchange for the client name dag1

i can see all files C:\, D:\

it's not posbile to choose dag1 in the vmware policy but it's a virtual node.

have you got any idea?

Have you create the mapping in Master > Host Properties > Distributed Application Restore Mapping?

In the restore window, what is the policy type that you selected?

i have solve my problem.

i have insert into the host file the master server name in the exchnage srever, but when i backup the client respondinf with another ip address.

this ip address correponding to the virtual cluster ip.

everything is ok now
