My oracle DBA asked me to check how much data was backed up for a particular client last week.
Our data is being backed up to a MSDP pool in the netbackup appliance, there is no client level deduplication and these are Oracle backups.
In the Netbackup Java administration console
When we go to Netbackup Management> Reports > Client Backups
I filered with the date and specific client.
The size of data that is backed up listed in the column in kilobytes (5th column) is that size after deduplication or before deduplication?

Hello
This is Front End bytes value - so before dedupe... in each job directed to MSPD you can see the dedup rate, ie:
info testsystem (pid=78845) StorageServer=PureDisk:nbuserver; Report=PDDO Stats for (nbuserver): scanned: 4129350 KB, CR sent: 459821 KB, CR sent over FC: 0 KB, dedup: 88.9%, cache disabled
