Hello All,
About to under take a Govenment contract with some very tight restrictions and data security and encryption demands....and rightly so!! but my question is what is the best way to back this up.
Should we?
1. Encrypt the data on the server storage before backup, than back that up?
or
2. Encrypt the data on the backup appliance then ship off site, on encrypted tape media?
Any advice would be really greatful recieved.
