Error Adding Second Email Address to Hardware Alerts

Hi, all.  I receive the below error while adding an email address to the hardware alerts.

my-master-1.Alerts> Email Hardware Add someaddress@some.domain.com V-475-2-1006 : Added email someaddress@some.domain.com not usable with SMTP server. Email address(es) added successfully 1.

The address is added, but email are not sent to it, which was confirmed checking outgoing email.

Anyone run across this before?

OK.  This article (https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/130821112-136840843-0/v130962872-136840843) had the error I ran into and an explanation of what it meant.  Turns out it was telling me my SMTP server wasn't allowing the outbound connection.  Sure enough when I checked I was only allowing my NetBackup servers to relay messages internally.  I changed that and was able to add without issue.

Hopefully, this will help if someone else runs across the problem.
