How to clean up 5020 appliance

We would like to cleanup our 5020 appliance in our environment.

Can someone please suggest the steps to cleanup.

Wow - a 5020 appliance is at least 8 years old. If you mean "cleanup" you want to erase any data on the storage, then I suggest you look at the Storage Foundation (Veritas volume manager) commands to shred a volume. Here is an article that should point you in the right direction:

To be honest I have no idea what versions of software is installed on that appliance, so I'm not even sure it uses Veritas volume manager.

A simpler way may be just to switch off and physcially destroy the drives - as I can't imagine you want want to reuse the hardware..

But if you're looking for guidance on something specific? I'd suggest providing all the details necessary about what you have, what you're running O/S and NBU versions and then state what is it exactly you are looking to "clean up".
