How to run install_client_files for ssh method with a different user other than root for client

like when we run /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/install_client_files ssh <clientname>

its asking for root password of the client, so is there any way we can run with different user other than root

The installation process is designed to be run as root. As with most software installation, you use root.

I thought you just used ssh user@clientname to use an alternate user.

Shaf, if the Unix based clients have implemented sudoers then you should be able to initiate an install from a different username, but in the end... the actual installation is still run as root.

I appreciate all your answers, but still look for more techs to comment.
