Hello all,

Do you know if it's possible to have 2 masters servers ( with differents version 7.6.1.2 and 7.7.3) who will manage the SAME appliance ( version 2.6.1.2)  ? with the same msdp etc etc .

To be clear is it possible to mutualize an appliance 5230 with severals Masters even if the don't have the same versionning ?

Its not even possible if they DO have the same versions. Appliance (media server, clients, etc) can only belong to one master (domain) at any given time. 

You can maybe switch clients over "easily" but not media servers. And I'm not advocating the moving of clients between domains, I'm just saying its possible.

And to be clear, this isn't limited to appliances.  This is also true of build your own media servers.  The architecture is a one to many, not a many to one (master to media).  The sharing of a media server across domains is fundamentally anathema to the overall NBU architecture.
