Licences on NBU appliance

What's the meaning of "Transferrable software licensing" in the appliance. What can i tranfer?

Guessing it means between old an new appliances. The below marketing blurb explains a little about transferring license between appliance hardware.

Appliance are  coming with flexibility to choose role they play (we decide based on our NetBackup topology)

If you wanted to replace your master server with appliance hence you can simply use same license key on appliance as well :)
No need to request new license keys from symantec on this. 

Now if you already use appliance based master server and new series of appliance has came up.. still ball is in your side. Simply use same key on new HW it would work.. Symantec offers more flexibility to us with technology we use :)
