Has anyone used NetBackup migration tool for migrating backup images from your old appliances to Netbackup appliance 5240 . We have recently purchased 5240s and they have come-up with software version 3.1. The NBU migration utility seems pretty simple just 2-3 commands. But the document says it needs Fiber connectivity. Does this mean connect your old and new appliances with Fiber cables directly and run the command. Please explain if somebody has already tried this utility.
