VMware Backup then replication & restoration to another NBU Domain

We have Two 5230 Appliance at Production site as one Master and one Media role. Similarly two at DR site with one Master, one Media role.

We want to setup AIR between Production and DR between appliance.

Then we want to take the backup of Esxi server VM's and replicate to the DR site and wanted to restore to DR site on another Esxi server.

Will it be possible and how? Please share your precious adives.

This is very doable. Read the NetBackup for VMware Guide http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=DOC6461 and pay particular to the section 10 on restoring to an alternate location. Appendix A also has the commands you can run that will accomplish the same thing.

We have done it for multiple customers.
