VMware SAN based backups with 5220

hello

as per info i got , 5220 is the only suite to eliminate windows as backup host limitations.

but how to configure SAN based backups with 5220 being open source backup host?

Admin guide does not show anything on this

Actually you can use a regular Linux box as well according to the release notes of 7.5.0.3. However you need to be aware of this tech note.

Look on page 19 and 20 where it has a caveat about multi-path support to the VM data stores.
