Version 9.0.1 - Storage Expiry Delete & Recovery

All I am reading is that no recovery is allowed after a "Storage Expiry" run. Is that correct? Can we minimize impact and recover a portion somehow and then ingest as a PST? Client is using Backup Exec and has a successful backup of the entire environment.

We had to enable the Storage Expiry "process vault store setting" to allow Shortcuts to be deleted. Forgot to disable that setting after shortcut deletion process had completed, and now items have been removed from an archive based on their Retention Category.

Please advise...

Thanks,

Solution - A full system recovery of the Evault Environment is required. In our scenario, we had to restore any new archived items back to Exchange that had been archived at the point where "Storage Expiry" had started.

Once archived items were restored back to Exchange; then a full system recovery on the Evault environment was implemented by using all backups available the day before "Storage Expiry" had initiated.

Thanks,

Dennis
