I need to know how to move media server netbackup appliance with MSDP pool from one netbackup domain A to another netbackup domian B without losing the MSDP pool data. What are the possibilites

 If we decommission media server netbackup applaince in NBU domain A and reconfigure it in Domain B and import the images then will we be able to recover the existing backups in MSDP pool. If yes whats the procedure.

Any other suggestion or ideas is also most welcome.

hello Sachin, I think that befor to decommision Media server you must expire the Image copy on this DP but very important without delete the copy (it is only DB expire), there is a particular options for this -nodelete.

After you can decommision the Media.

Reconfigure the media on new domain and import the image.

These are my suggestion but I think that you must open a Veritas case. regards
