import certificate for NBU5230 web console

Hi all,

Using NBU5230 as master server, version 2.6.0.1.

May I know how to import certificate into NBU5230 web console?

Also I am planning to import certificate into IPMI, under configuration of IPMI I can see the option to import certificate. Anyone tried?

Thanks a lot!

Just to verify, are you talking about the IPsec credentials cert or something else? Step 9 of HOWTO94404 walks though the process of import of the IPsec credentials

I think he means putting his own certificate on the server for https traffic.  Honestly I'd skip it.  Put your backup devices on their own vlan, don't let 80 and 443 in.  Have a a hop in host with all your tools inside the same vlan and work from there.   Only thing that goes in or out is backup specific traffic.

You backup data is safer, your auditers will be happy, and you don't have to reissue and reinstall certificates every year and or patch.

I think Chapter 8 of the 2.6.0.2 Appliance Security Guide may help you - at least for the Appliance, not sure about the IPMI

Hope this helps
