A Windows 2008 R2 64 bit Remote Office backup agent is on the proliferation list for PureDisk 6.6.1

If you want to be part of the FA program it would require you to enlist.

I'm enrolled, but haven't seen an update that the FA is available yet... August 23, 2010... and counting... ;)

Looks like it was delayed a few days more but I am downloading as I write this and should have it on my Test server in a few hours.

Allready ran in to several bugs. Installed to 2 servers.

Installation
--------------
a server built as 6.6 from scratch then to 6.6.1 worked fine
a server built as 6.5 then upgraded to 6.6 then to 6.6.1 failed to install. Missing dependancies.  Ran rpm's to install and upgrade then successfull
( bug similar to this http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/327315.htm but we used the newer RPM's)
VEA could not connect to server after upgrade
( fixed using this http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/335363.htm)

Firefox
--------
Cant open Job details in browser in more.
From the jobs tab, there is a extra Bar in the middle of the text that wont go away. There is only a small amount of jobs on the screen compared to IE.
It now opens in the same window which is good :)

Replication
--------------
Make sure you upgrade your Central SPA first as 6.6.1 does not replicate to 6.6.0.X servers

Got a tech support case open for this, but I wanted to know if anyone out there in the fields have actually successfully backed up Win2k8 R2 64bit SCC?

Yes I back up a 2008 R2 x64 Domain Controller. Only Thing you may need to do is in the pre  and post script options

pre:

net stop dfsr

post:

net start dfsr

"Documents and Settings" and other folders do not backup and the log shows that the reason is to do with a profile compatibility junction, but the aget is installed as a service account as default:
