Monitoring reporting \Storage full after 2TB reached when only 51% used

Our \Storage area has 3600TB limit.  However, once the storage reaches 2TB backups stop with the error Hard Limit Reached and no more data is backed up.

It has been set up correctly as 2 x 2 TB spaces glued together using LVM.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Have you checked your other partitions? The Hard Limit applies to ANY disk, even a mounted CD-ROM Smiley Mad, so if anything is showing less than 10% free, you will get this error.  Annoying, but at least it's consistent... I guess.

Rather embarrassingly we discovered that the netbackup export log file had filled up one of our partitions just after I posted this.

So thank you Tom,  your solution was correct.
