Last week the disk volume was reporting itself as down, which brought all backups, restores and image cleanups to a halt. However since it has been brought back online these errors have started to occur. I think that the images may have become corrupt when the disk volume went down, however don't know where to look?

Hi,
Considering you have a MSDP setup and duplications are happening from MSDP to TAPE.
Please verify the following:
1] If the image information exists in the catalog, perform a catalog search for image GBLVPRX0_1303153214
# bpdbm -ctime 1303153214 = Mon Apr 18 12:00:14 2011
Or else you may have to enable verbose logging for bptm, pdplugin, bpdm(on Media server configured with MSDP option.)
1] bptm/bpdm can be enabled from Host Properties->Media Server Properties -> Logging -> Set required logging level to 5 and restart NBU services
2] pdplugin(it logs everything in the bptm) can be enabled by editing the "<install drive>:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\ost-plugins\pd.conf" file
search for "# LOGLEVEL = 0"
- Uncomment the line(remove the #)
- set the value to 10 i.e. LOGLEVEL = 10
- save and exit
3] Once the duplications fail again, collect the logs for further analysis by Symantec Technical Support.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
