  • Expire all Backup Image placed on Deduplication Storage.
  • Run "crcontrol --processqueue" Twice.
  • Also try to Clean the garbege with "crcollect -v -m +1,+2" then Run "crcontrol --processqueue" Twice.

Netbackup 7.1 on top of Windows 2008 R2

I did follwo the steps  in the follwoing link

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH124914

But not chance to free space, this is why I reconfiguer the Deduplication Media  Server Again.

Can you paste the output from your "crcontrol --dsstat" command?

Also output from "crcontrol --getmode"

Looks like there is still 299GB of data in 3367103 files in the Dedupe Pool. I'd make sure you have expired all of your images correctly.

If you are sure there is nothing left , try follow this procedure

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH124898

This goes through destorying an dedupde pool and then you can create a new one.

If that fails then best log a support case.
