how to do restore of only modified files after a full restore in Puredisk 6.6.3

HI,

I have client request to restore modified file only after a full restore done previously.

This to avoid the long duration of entire content restore. which of these options can select to restore modified files only

The restore GUI only have option

1) Overwrite existing file

2) DO not restore if the file exist

3 Restore with temperory name

There is not a lot of PureDisk expertise left with the product reaching EOSL a year ago.

Have you tried the manuals?

I have found online manuals over here: http://www.veritas.com/docs/000003703 

Under the Attachment icon, have a look at the PureDisk™ Backup Operator Guide.

It seems you need to take a step back and make a choice when selecting files/folders to be restored.

On page 127 it describes  File Selection choices - 

Restore latest version
or
Restore version from date 

 

**** ANOTHER THOUGHT ****

Are you perhaps using PD as a backup destination using NetBackup?
If this is the case, select the latest Incremental backup.
