Hi

SSH in to your box

type "service puredisk status"

and make sure everything is running

-->

servername:/ # service puredisk status
Checking for LDAP-server                                              running
Checking for VxATd daemon                                             running
Checking for PureDisk Memory Cache Daemon                             running
Checking for PureDisk Database Server                                 running
Checking for PureDisk WebServer                                       running
Checking for PureDisk SPA Authorization Service                       running
Checking for PureDisk Controller                                      running
Checking for PureDisk Controller Monitor                              running
Checking for PureDisk Server Agent                                    running

Checking for PureDisk MetabaseEngine                                  running
Checking for PureDisk JAVA GUI                                        running
Checking for CRON daemon                                              running

if something is not type "service puredisk start"

else type "ifconfig"

confirm your IP address and type browse "https://12.345.6.78" and see if that works

Another issue might be if you use Firefox, you will need to clear the SSL certificate. When you renew the certificate it then is different to the stored one . Let me know how you go.

hi,

i was able to resolve it with some help from my consultants, the issue was with some corrupt PIDs. what i did was to rename does PIDs then restart the pure disk services and everything was resolved.

how i got to know it was corrupt PIDs was when i tried restarting the puredisk services {service puredisk start cmd} it pointed out the PIDs it was having issues with.

Thanks for the help
