Customize Backup Schedule from NSS

Hi IHAC,

Can Tenant users using NSS customize the Protection Policy default template schedule?

Example: Template in NBU is to Backup every 24 hours starting at 24:00, and the Tenant wants to change the schedule to start at 03:00.

If not, what would be the recommend best practices to implement this.

Hi

You are correct that the tenant user cannot update the template policy from NSS. However there is a solution to this problem......

The NSS administrator can define protection levels which link to different template polices, so you could define a 'Gold start at 24:00' and a 'Gold start at 03:00', the tenant user could then take the machine out of one policy and add to another.
