AD integration is a standard method to hook up to so is out of the box, LDAP can be done but generally needs some PS (Professional Services) engagement as LDAP is a more general format that is different for each implementation.
Also it depends on what is to be integrated by LDAP, might not be (just) authentication, might be RBAC or even machine import from LDAP directory.
