Greetings!
I have recently discovered HTTP 500 error while trying ot open the "Monitoring tab" in NSS
It says "The website cannot display the page"
* The website is under maintenance
* The website has a programming error
And i have also noticed that the Registration Process of Computer takes forever to accomplish.
The computer itself appears in the "Computer tab" but the cog is still moving.
Is there any any way to restore the "Monitoring" tab or should i do the whole installation process again?
Or maybe there is something wrong with IIS setup?
Thank you,

Hi Alexander,
It sounds like a configuration setting has been amended in IIS, which is causing the page to expect authentication in some manner, though its odd that its just the Monitoring tab that you’re having issues with, as each tab is configured using the same adapter/site.
Is this a live use site that you’re using? Or a POC?
I’d suggest checking the IIS settings for the [website]NetBackupPanels section in IIS.
If you’re unable to find the settings that have been changed, it might be wise to uninstall the adapter and reinstall it fresh. This should resolve the issue for you.

Hi Alexander,
Last week you mentioned you've had issues with the Monitoring tab and adding protection after you tried deleting. Is this the same issue?
Thanks,
Tracey

Tracey,
The symptoms look the same but this time I have made changes in IIS but not in the SQLDB of NSS.
I have tried to add https binding to the web site.
Also I used Registration of Computer via API and after that I also used the Unregister Computer via API

Hi Alexander,
Can you try undoing your changes, revert to HTTP and follow this guide:

Hi Alexander,
The article is called 'Can SSL certificates be installed post installation of NSS' and can be found on the last page within VOX>Backup and Recovery?NetBackup Self Service.

Tracey,
I have followed with this guide and installed SSL certificates properly.(Now when I use the https url is it trusted)
But the 500 http error still persists when I enter the "Monitoring" tab.
I have attached the screenshot of error
Thank you,

Casper,
Will the delete of adapter affect my SQLDB, is there a possibility to lose Protection Levels,Tenants etc.?
What actions should be done before uninstalling adapter (in example stoping IIS, shuting down services etc.)
Many thanks,

Hi Alexander,
The DB holds details of Tenants etc, the adapter manages the panels on the front page, and how records are displayed. Reinstalling this shouldn't have any effect on the data held in the portal side of things.
Regards
Casper.

Greetings!
I have uninstalled Adapter, Adapter Database and installed Adapter again.
Now the Sync options works fine and the monitoring tab doesn't show 500 https.
Unfortunately I have lost all the registered hosts and all protection levels, though the location (master) was in place and all tenants and users are avaliable.
Do I get it right:
Adapter database holds info on Prot Levels and PCs connected?
I will try to register the hosts once again and see if there will be history of previous backups and avaliable images for Restore.
