NSS & backup duplication via SLP

I have a backup policy which backs up a machine to disk for one week. It uses an SLP (Storage Lifecycle Policy) to duplicate this backup to tape and sets the retention for one year. In NSS only the first image is showing?

Images duplicated by SLP’s retain the same unique identifier. When NSS Polls for images it recognizes both images as being the same image, and counts them only once. It’s possible to create a scheduled task to poll for images after a week, which will then pick up the yearly retention image rather than the weekly. However, this scan may take some time to carry out, dependent on the amount of machines present. This issue is currently under investigation for the 8.1 release.
