Hello,

We have 4239 errors on our VMWare backup snapshot. In our client's existing VM, but NetBackup can not find it.

I have to redo the VM client configuration in the Netbackup policies for the backup works.

Do you have a solution?

My setting are good and it worked well before.

Thanks,

René.

Reapply your vcenter credentials and also clean up all entries under fi_cntl. Then scan again and retry the backup.

Does the Vcenter is avalaible during the backup failures?

unavaliablity of the Vcenter also will result this error.. make sure Vcenter did not had any issues when you see the failuers...

i have seen this many times..Vcenter might be down for some work or does not accept the authentications etc...

Hello

No, everything was functional for every snapshot.

The only thing I can see is that we have changed the password in the virtual machine server on netbackup Master Credeantials
