96 unable to allocate new media for backup, storage unit has none available

I have come out of the NBU backup problem, I run the inventory to see the tape media on the console.  then I try to run backup , it returns the error code 96

11/08/2017 10:46:55 - Error nbjm (pid=289) NBU status: 96, EMM status: No media is available

(96) unable to allocate new media for backup, storage unit has none available

I double confirm the policy used for the volume pool and check the command nbemmcmd to list out media tape status, media status is active, but that media not in EMM db when run bpmedialist.

May I know what is the problem ?  Please give me advice !

I resolved the problem right now as I should select the STU to the right now, run backup successful , all working fine
