ACLS server crash after Inventory from NBU

Hi Guys,

When doing a inventory via the GUI(jnbSA) or using the command line 

/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/acstest -r vumalc
then the command
qvol
It will crash the ACLS server.

We are running ACLS 7.2 on a seperate server, and Netbackup 6.5.5 on the Master/Media server.


Any ideas?

Hi Gents,

We are using version acsls version 7.2 which is supported by symantec, but there seems to a bug on Solaris systems which is correct with the following patch.

have you tried running an audit from the acsls server?

ACSLS is a extremely stable application. Why do you think it crash ?. Try to log-on to the ACSLS server as user "acssa" and type "q server". Output something like:
19:15:35 23-02-2010              Server Status
 Identifier   State            Free Cell  Audit  Mount  Dismount  Enter  Eject
                               Count      C/P    C/P    C/P       C/P    C/P
              run              40         0/0    0/0    0/0       0/0    0/0

You can also see what happened to ACSLS in /export/home/ACSSS/log/acsss_event.log
