Looking to see if AIR (Auto Image Replication) is now supported with DataDomain systems. If so, can you point me to the documentation?
Thanks!

It is supported with DDBoost 2.6 and DDOS 5.3.
Both are not GA yet but you may want to try to call your EMC rep and get RA images.

EMC documentation is ready - you can read about AIR and Accelerator here using BOOST:

See http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH76495

It is not up to NBU version - it is up to DDOS and plugin.

Both are not GA yet
That means still not yet supported....
If you use Beta/RA software, you are on your own if errors are encountered with NBU.
The moment it is released, the HCL will be updated.

Symantec HCL provides qualification to both DDBoost 2.6 and DD OS 5.3, it is available on the Symantec's website.
GA and RA code is the same and it's not a beta version. Availability of a particular version could be regulated by marketing, sales or other teams and other not neccessarily technical reasons.
According to Symantec's support policy that is explained in HCL, all items listed in HCL as supported, supported by definition.
I have been running some EMC RA code that was listed in Symantec HCL but not publically available and had no problem opening cases and resolving problems.
The A.I.R. feature of DD is currently not listed as supported by Symantec. And this is up to Symantec to qualify it. But this is not related to RA or GA.
I suggest to topic starter to talk to an EMC rep first.
Your mileage may vary.
