About the dedupe volume - firstly tell us your NBU version and OS?
NBU version is important as deduplication has evolved across NBU versions.
OS is relevant as commands and logs need to be accessed from the right path.
NBU will automatically do cleanup and compaction.
Important to check your retention levels (as dedupe is not meant for long term retention) as well as dedupe rates achieved. Some types of data simply does not dedupe well and will 'eat up' your space a lot quicker than anticipated.
